Dr. Gladys I. Cruz is the Assistant Superintendent for School Improvement at Questar III Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES).  In this role, she oversees the school improvement and professional development activities that serve 23 school districts in the Rensselaer, Columbia, and Greene counties. She also oversees state funded contracts that include the Regional Special Education Technical Assistance Resource Network and the Puerto Rican Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and a MS in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from the State University of New York at Albany. She also holds a MA in Bilingual Education and a BA in Elementary Education and English from La Universidad del Turabo in Puerto Rico. She has over 25 years of experience in administration, teaching, and educational research. Gladys began her career as a teacher in Puerto Rico.
