Mr. Antonio Martinez, Esq. is a recognized leader in the legal, regulatory, and political arenas of Healthcare Law & Policy, Food & Drug Law & Policy, and International Relations and Trade with Latin America. He is an Attorney at Law and businessman. He practices U.S. Food & Drug Law and regulatory compliance, import/export and commercial transactions, and negotiations. He is well known as a close advisor and industry leader to elected and government officials on these issues.
A prolific speaker, Mr. Martinez has appeared numerous times in national broadcast and print media over the last twenty years and edits a blog on U.S. Cuba relations. He frequently speaks at legal and trade association forums discussing legal/regulatory compliance and political issues. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Martinez has extensive travel experience having visited 45 of the 50 states and many foreign countries in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Mr. Martinez earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Brooklyn Law School. He attended the United States Capitol Page School and is also a graduate of New York Military Academy. His experience working with the U.S. Congress began at the age of 16 when he served as a Senate Page to the late U.S. Senator Jacob Javits (R‘NY) and for the U.S. Senate Majority Leadership. His government experience also included positions with the U.S. Senate Library, the US Department of Justice, Civil Division, Admiralty and Environmental Law Section in New York City, the Legal Division of the New York City Council, and as a Mediator for the Community Dispute Resolution Center of Kings County, New York He is a member of the State and Federal Bars of New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia.
